New Year’s Eve at Terasa U Prince offers the best of both worlds. You’re right at the heart of the celebrations on Old Town Square, but instead of standing in the crowds below, you have your own spot on a rooftop terrace, a drink in hand and Prague stretching out before you.

The terrace is heated throughout winter, and the number of guests is carefully managed to ensure a comfortable setting for both dinner and the midnight toast.

A special New Year’s Eve menu is available, with several options for each course, including vegetarian dishes. Add panoramic views of Prague’s historic centre and the opportunity to spend the entire evening here, right through to the New Year.

If you want to be at the heart of Prague’s New Year’s Eve celebrations while still enjoying the evening in comfort, that’s exactly what makes Terasa U Prince so special.

Absolutely. You can plan your New Year’s Eve however you like, whether it’s a romantic dinner for two, a festive evening with family or a celebration with friends.

Several reservation times are available, so you can join us for dinner before heading out into the city, or choose a later sitting and welcome the New Year right here on the terrace.

And if you’re planning a particularly special New Year’s Eve surprise, the views over Prague at night make the terrace a beautiful setting for a marriage proposal.

Your table is available for the duration of your selected reservation time. Once your sitting ends, we kindly ask you to vacate the table so it can be prepared for the next guests.

If you’d like to continue celebrating on the terrace, you’re welcome to move to the bar or the Bubble Point viewing area for another drink, subject to availability.

If you’ve booked a later sitting ending at 01:30, your table will remain yours throughout the midnight celebrations.

And if you’d like to keep the party going, your New Year’s Eve dinner reservation also includes complimentary entry to the New Year’s afterparty at Zlatý Strom Bar & Club.

Yes, walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability. However, New Year’s Eve is one of our busiest nights of the year, and demand for Terasa U Prince is exceptionally high thanks to its location directly above Old Town Square.

Table reservations on New Year’s Eve are available exclusively with our special festive menu. Without a reservation, we cannot guarantee a table or access to the terrace at your preferred time.
