Our terrace offers a signature view of Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock, with a dedicated photopoint for guests who want to capture the moment properly.

To keep the experience calm and comfortable, access to the terrace and #bubblepointview photopoint is reserved for restaurant guests. Visitors coming only for photos may enter after paying an entry fee, which includes a glass of Mumm Champagne.

How do I get to the Terrace?

The Terrace is located on the 5th floor of Hotel U Prince on Old Town Square. Entrance is through the hotel.

Do I need a reservation to sit down?

We strongly recommend making a reservation. Capacity on our rooftop terrace is limited, and tables with a direct view of the Astronomical Clock are in high demand all year round. Guests without a reservation are seated only if there is current availability.

Can I come just for a drink?

Yes, you can come just for a drink. However, if you want to secure a table, we recommend making a reservation. Access to the photopoint and selected parts of the Terrace may be regulated depending on current capacity.

Can I reserve a specific table with a view?

We always try to take guests’ preferences into account, but we cannot guarantee a specific table. Seating is assigned based on current occupancy, reservation size and Terrace operations.

Is the Terrace open in bad weather?

Yes. Terasa U Prince is partially covered and heated, so you can visit outside the summer season as well. In case of significantly bad weather, operations may be adjusted according to the current situation.

When is the best time to visit?

It depends on the experience you are looking for. In the morning, the Terrace is calmer; during the day, it offers beautiful views of Old Town; and in the evening, it has a more atmospheric feel. For the most popular times, we recommend booking in advance.

Do you have a dress code?

We do not require a formal dress code. However, we recommend smart casual attire, in keeping with the atmosphere of a rooftop bar in central Prague.

Is there an entrance fee to the Terrace?

Terasa U Prince operates as a bar and restaurant, not as a public viewpoint. For guests with a table reservation, the visit is part of their reservation. For visits without a reservation made solely for taking photos, entry with a welcome drink may be required.

Is the Terrace suitable for private or corporate events?

Yes. Terasa U Prince is suitable for private celebrations, corporate gatherings and smaller events with views of Prague’s historic centre. For events, we recommend contacting us in advance to check availability and setup options.
